Hi,

I am using SectionEx for Joomla 3.0.
I tried to override files in my template/html folder.
Each time I create a folder in html called: com_sectionex
I get this error on the frontend page where sectionex is being displayed: Fatal error:
Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in .../com_sectionex/helpers/helper.php on line 214

Have you had an issue like that? It does not matter if i have any files in the folder or not.
Just creating an override folder itself causes that error.
Thanks!
hello anna,

Sorry for late reply to this,
Do you mean that after you put your customization file in JoomlaFolder/template/html/com_sectionex then causing this issues right?
Did you check this error from your customization file?
Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in .../com_sectionex/helpers/helper.php on line 214

Hi Arlex,

Actually, when I add a customization file to JoomlaFolder/template/html/com_sectionex, it produces this error on the frontend.
If I don't add the customization file and there is only an empty customization folder (JoomlaFolder/template/html/com_sectionex), it produces the same exact error. No matter what I do, even if I only create a folder (com_sectionex) in html folder, it automatically produces the error on the frontend where sectionex is displayinh a list of articles. Any ideas?

Thank you!

hello anna,

Sorry for late reply to this,
To be honestly, we do not provide any support regarding the sectionex.
Perhaps you provide your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can better have a look your issues?
