Can you be more specific ? I've found the CSS, but where is the settings for default number of listings ?

I am aware that you're discontinuing the component, but there is an issue with search option too:

You need to edit the php files in the themes folder. You should open up these files and find the contents that you would like to modify

Thank you, but I've found the solution which I'm sharing here for free:

Joomla backend > Menu Manager > Display settings > Pagination (you set the desired number)

Search is working properly if the above setting is set to ' No Pagination'
