I want to achieve the following.

1. Designate some site users as "managers"
2. Allow "managers" to give an Award to other site users from front end.
3. Create a badge on the user's profile when the user receives the Award.
4. Have a field in Advanced search to select users who have received the Award.

Can you advise if this is possible and if so how best to proceed?

Thanks
Hey Jonathan,

I am sorry but unfortunately right now this isn't possible currently as there is no way for users to create awards on the front end or assign them to other users on the front end.

Thanks

Could this be done with a custom badge that certain designated users could award to another user rather than a badge being awarded based on points for instance?

If so are there developers you recommend that could help with this?

Thanks for the reply

Hey Jonathan,

Hm, you could assign custom badges to users on the back end, but it's not possible right now to actually do this on the front end. If you are interested in adding such functionality, we are available for hire and you may get in touch with us at https://stackideas.com/contact to request for a quote.

By the way, the badges in EasySocial are assigned to users when they perform specific actions for x amount of times rather than just points.
