works for me search the full name and I would like to search for users by name joomla, in the settings I have included indexing user joomla, cleaned the cache, but a search by the name of joomla without results, sorry it's google translate
Hello,

Sorry my bad for not explain in details.

Once you've enabled the indexing based on username, then go to your Joomla backend under components -> smart search ( this is the Joomla com_finder component ) and click on the purge button on top of the page. Please see http://screencast.com/t/zAfisRAj

After your indexed items purged, you then click on the 'index' button on the same page. A popup window will be showing the indexing progress is going. Please see http://screencast.com/t/DhyFQpqt

After the re-indexing process done, you can then filter the content type to see your indexed items. Please see http://screencast.com/t/G9ZYwGNIsKR

Anyway, just for your information, EasySocial search is actually utilising Joomla smart search feature. By this way, you can search anything that you've indexed with Joomla smart search from EasySocial

Hope this help and have a nice day

Hello,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

If you want to search your users by username, you will need to configure your EasySocial the user indexing to index by 'username'. Go to EasySocial backend under Settings -> Users -> User search Indexing and choose 'username' in option 'Name indexing format'. Please see http://screencast.com/t/dqvqC7igW

After you have re-configure the user name format for the indexing, you will need to purge your smart search cache and then re-run the indexing again

Hope this help and have a nice day
