search the event date?

I site now would like to use for event!!! but anyway user can search the event date? I can have event date field? search box at frontend?

now the search only search blog content !
Hello Kerry,

You cannot search blog posts by date. If you are using EasySocial, you could access the events section and filter the events by date.
