Hi

I have been trying to achieve search functionality that searches my entire site - Articles, Easyblog, Easydiscuss and Easysocial. So far, all I have been able to achieve is searching sections.

I do have the various search plugins for Easy blog and easy discuss installed and I have indexed the Smart Search component.

Also, I have tried installing and using the following modules:

Smartsearch
Search
RokAjax Search
Easy Social Search


So far, none have achieved a search of the entire site.

Is there something else I should be doing?

Any advice is most welcome.

Oh, Sorry for missed up in your previous reply,
I have checked in your search module, it seems like you're using "RokAjaxSearch module", when i try to using the Joomla smart search module, it working fine when i search the EasySocial group.

Hello Steven,

What search form are you using on the site? By the way, you also need to download the finder plugin for both EasyBlog and EasyDiscuss from http://stackideas.com/downloads . These finder plugins are responsible to display search results from EasyBlog and EasyDiscuss as well.

I have now downloaded and installed the finder plugins and for a moment all seemed to work with regards to searching EasyDiscuss and EasyBlog. However, this has again stopped. Plugins are still enabled. Searching of EasySocial also not working.

Not completely sure what you mean by "search form" ...... I haven't created a custom form, so I guess it is the standard form with Joomla or perhaps the template??

I have checked in your plugin, it seems like you didn't install the smart search for Easyblog plugin, I have help you installed + reindex from your smarch search component, everything is work fine now. Please have a check.

It's working well for easydiscuss and easyblog, still not searching easySocial groups. Is this possible?
