you find the logindata to my testsite in the global sitedetails!

Hello Noobster,

By right the search plugin should be disabled automatically during the installation/upgrade since the plugin is no longer support easyblog version 5. May I know do you perform an upgrade from easyblog 3.9 or fresh installation? I've tested both method in my local instance and the search plugin did get disabled by default.

Please advise.

Hi Guys,

I am having the same issue (and many more with the upgrade from 3.9 to 5.0.) on localhost.

Files, folders are missing after the install. EB 5.0 seems to be imperfect.

Pls notify all of us when all is perfect, since this is a just a waste of time for us to search and find (if found) solutions.....
Thanks

Hello Trea,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

Can you post in a new thread instead and provide us with your joomla backend and FTP access so it will be easier for us to follow up on the issue? Also may I know on what version of easyblog 5 you are using currently? This issue should have been addressed in the latest release of easyblog (5.0.14). Please advise.

Hi Ezrul,

I downloaded and installed the latest version 5.0.14 on Saturday. FTP and Joomla credentials are included under the Site Details tab. Pls note that Admin Tools Pro is installed on the site with Administrator secret URL parameter.
Just to let you know that after the upgrade the com_easyblog/helpers folder was missing, si needed to copy it to the server in order to make it work.

I am looking forward to the resolution.
Thanks
