Regarding your issue, something very strange. I tried to search something from your Joomla article in your com_finder component and the search returned me empty result. It seems like your smart seach ( com_finder ) is not working properly? Please see http://screencast.com/t/0sWzPGLU

This might affect in EasySocial search as we actually utilised Joomla smart search to perform the search. If smart search failed, then EasySocial will failed too So you might want to find out why your Joomla smart search is not working properly. You may go to your Joomla finder by using the below url:

http://www.yourdomain.com/index.php?option=com_finder&view=search

Also, i notice you've another search component called mijisearch. May i know if this search component indexed their own data? or this component actually retrieve the data from smart search also?

Thanks for looking at this.

I spent the entire afternoon trying to troubleshoot what went wrong with our live site and I can't find any. The other website where Mark run the Index is just a copy of the live website and Smart Search is working fine. I'm stumped!

Ok found the issue, for some reason something is off with my _finder_xxxx tables. I exported all the finder table from my fresh install of Joomla 2.5 and imported it to my live site and purged the data and run the Index. Smart Search magically works again!

I hope this helps someone who will have the same issue as me.
