Search Not working

I have a user Sam Johnson and when I'm testing (as logged in as Sam johnson) the search function, it does not see other people for example another user "sara".

I have the correct settings as you can see below but it is not "searching" sara so I can try to add her as a friend.

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it weekends for all of us here.

I have re-indexed your easysocial search from your backend > components > smart search > index and the search is working correctly now. Check my screenshot here, http://screencast.com/t/lptYhqnA .

also i want to add I tried the user groups as well for example i have a group University of Minnesota.. and when I type in Minnesota I get no results.

Hey Gene,

To re-index smart search results, go to the back end of your Joomla Site, click on Components > Smart Search. Then, click on the "Purge" button. After purging the records, click on the "Index" button again
