I have no idea to achieve the search funtion like as Vanilla.

Yeah, I think that is primarily because the smart search in Joomla doesn't handle these unicode very well It actually does heavy indexing on the content before the search is performed.

I have a little bit lost here, I've checked in your site, it seems like that search module did appear on the Easysocial page, you can check my attached screenshot below.

Yes, I am lost too.
I installed EasySocial and EasyBlog in other site, but it can't search blogs. Maybe I need to install EasySocial again?

I got it!
EasySocial's search can't search Almost Chinese characters.(EasyBlog' search can do it)
Hope one day it can do it.

Hey Wu,

Hm, EasySocial search relies on the Smart Search in Joomla. As long as you can find the items under the Smart Search in Joomla, it would then be able to search it too.

I checked it and enable plugin of Smart Search, and it did go to better.
Even so I found out other problem related to it.

It is better, but not to sovle it completly.
I can't use middle character to search, like that "我是誰", I can't use "是" to search out.
By the way, Easyblog's Search can do it.
