Hello,
I implemented the search function as an modul with dedicated modul position (main menue) and it works.

I created also a menue item wit the type "(Blog) Search ". Using the menue item in the frontend don't produce any results.

I've applied some fix in this file JoomlaFolder\plugins\finder\easyblog\easyblog.php, it should work fine now.

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

It seems like that is bug, I will log this issue on our tracker, we will fix this in next release version.

additional issue: the search inside the toolbar also don't work.

What about smart search? Joomla smart search don't index the easyblog articles. Don't you offer an own smart search module?
I couldn't belief it, because k2 do it as well.

I am sorry for the delay of this reply,

I've temporary help you enabled back your smart search module on your page, and I try to search this keyword 'Seitenumbau', it did show Easyblog post result, you can refer on my attached screenshot below.

By I noticed that post URL missing your subdomain name, can you provide us with your FTP access as well so I can help you check on this?

This smart search result includes the nativ joomla articles not the blog posts by easyblog.

#Edit: I deactived the native joomla articles...and the smart serach really includes the easblog posts. But if I want to open such one it comes an error 404
