Search is "Show All" default?

Hi Support

Is this just me. But when I switch the search menu on (switched off at the moment) it takes me to a screen with a search box.

To the right of this search box there is a text that says “show all.” I would have thought that clicking this would show me more options. But these options only become available when I actually enter something in the search field and hit enter. Is this normal? Because I for one find it confusing!

All I need is an option for search page with advanced search as a second default option Plan B if you will

Yes, this is actually the default behavior of the "Show All" link. The reason is because after searching for a specific "term", results are categorized according to the types. By using the "Show all", it will display all results.

Ok got it. Like if I land on this page for the first time I might get confused! I think it is misleading but sure. Any plans for Search tweaks in foreseeable future?

Hello Paul,

There's some search tweaking being made in EasySocial 1.3 but it's not really on this particular instance.
