Ok. That is based on auto detection.

But can users see events happening in a city that is not near their location? It could be a listing of events by cities for example.

I suppose that might happen eventually. I'm rooting for city/state search as well.

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Currently they are only based on your current location. In the future we might add additional search filters there.

A Event Search Module with a drill down would be great as its currently missing. (Current location can be one of the option in the module)

Search events nearby does not have an option to select by city, or location. (A user's current location might be X, but his residence maybe Y), so search by current location is not very useful in such cases.

I am sorry but you cant search or filter events by location yet We will see if we can put this feature into EaysSocial 2.0 or not.
