A user experience observation with the search on the Frosty menu bar....

I have a Halloween event. Being lazy I try to find it using just 'hallo'

Back-End Search Events this works fine.

Front-End though it doesn't return the event called 'Halloween'

It does bring back a couple of users with the name Hall. But not the event Halloween.

I'd have expected it not to bring back the 'Hall' names and most importantly to bring back the 'Halloween' event.

If you type the full word 'Halloween' then it does work.
Hello Andy,

Our search suggestion is relying purely on Joomla's Smart Search and their Smart Search does not rely on "part" of the keyword. It requires an exact match. This is why we have altered our search suggestions earlier to suggest keywords rather than results.

I don't really think it's a "Joomla issue" per-se but rather it's more of the method of implementation. Some users prefers "suggestions" rather than "result hinting"
