Do you mean you want a search box at the top of the groups main page? Or a search box for information within a group?

I am sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a long weekend for us here in Malaysia. If you are referring to the search box on the toolbar, it's already possible and you just need to ensure that the plugin "Finder - EasySocial Groups" is enabled. The search box on the toolbar relies on the Smart Search in Joomla.
