Hi

How can I restrict easysocial search to find only user ?

please advice

You can disable these search plugin from your backend > extension > plugins

Smart Search - EasySocial Albums
Smart Search - EasySocial Events
Smart Search - EasySocial Photos
Smart Search - EasySocial Groups


After you disabled, you have to `Clear index` from backend > Component > smart search > click 'Clear index' button > then click 'index' button again.

thanks for your advice
but the search also display the user document publish from DOCMAN (adding sample)
we just wen to search user from the easy social control panel search ...
please advice

The search in EasySocial utilizes the Smart Search in Joomla. If you do not want docman results to be visible:

1. Disable the plugin Finder - Docman
2. Go to the Smart search and purge the index
3. Then, re-index the items again in Smart Search

If we disable plugin Finder - Docman form the site
the Global search will also won't display the Docman results...
We just went to exclude the docman result from the easy social search .

Unfortunately that was not possible to achieve this is because Easysocial search also rely on Joomla smart search engine. In other word, if enable this plugin Finder - Docman , it will store the index in Joomla smart search engine as well.
