I am seeing something else strip script tags as I removed the editor entirely from the process. Still getting tags stripped. And I am as Super User and this is set to no filtering. So where or what can be stripping. Joomla 3 and latest easyblog..3.9.15110
I was using JCE and thought for ages it was this ! But it isn't. I guess it could be joomla not working properly as filtering is globally set at no filtering for Super User.

thanks.
Hello calvin,

In EasyBlog's ACL, we have actually added our own additional blacklisted attributes. Perhaps you might want to check on the ACL.

Thats great to now however nothing is set in the boxes for text filtering. So I will test the regular article ability to not strip tags..if it doesn't then I think there may be an issue with easy blog stripping 'script' for example.

I was just able to add the script I needed to to a regular joomla article via the backend. So I feel that there is something wrong here.

to reproduce

1)login with a user who has Super user privs.
2)disable wysiwyg editor front end.
3)try to insert some script tags into a blog post.

Sorry but I am a little lost here. In order to allow script tags, this is what you need to do.

1. If you are a super user
2. Access the ACL at the back end of EasyBlog
3. For the Super user group, remove the disallowed tags.
4. Save the ACL.
5. Create a new blog post with the script tag.

I have no dissalowed tags ! "nothing is set in the boxes for text filtering" in easy blog ACL. Are you telling me that it is working for you ? If yes then I will give you SA access.

Hello calvin,

Please provide us with the back end and FTP access to the site to check on this. Also, include the script snippet so that I can test this as well.
