You can download the latest EasyBlog in your dahsboard at http://stackideas.com. Please take note if you are upgrading from EasyBlog 3.8.x or older to 3.9.x requires a full uninstall / installation. The reason is because there are some core files which were modified in this release and running the updater would actually break things.

Rest assured that your data would not get erased when you perform an uninstall. Theme files and other core files would however get erased, so if you have made any modifications, it's best to make a backup of the modifications first.

That is the case so I'll need to do the full uninstall/reinstall. Do you happen to know if I will lose my categories?

Hello Don,

In your case, you just download the latest version of Easyblog zip.file from your dashboard, then go to your Backend > Extension Manager > Upload/install it , it just overridden latest file in Easyblog, it won't lose any categories data from your site.

Notice : Remember backup your file which made it customization before.
