I tested registering on the first step of your site and I am able to proceed to step 2.
If from step 2, you are going back to step 1, then the password won't get auto filled. This is the expected behaviour because due to security purposes, password should always be refilled if user were to refresh the page or go back to the page. All other major sites have this behaviour as well.
