Saving Moderated Post causing it to be approved and published

If a user submits a blog, and you make changes and press save (not approve and publish), it approves it and publishes anwyay
Hi Chris,

Seems like I can reproduce this issue, where when edit the pending post and once the auto saving occurred and you click the update button it will publish the post.
I've logged this issue in our issue tracker and our developers will take an action for this.

yes, they submit it for approval , I made some changes and wanted to save it to allow another moderate to look at it, and it approved it straight away.

Hello Chris,

Just tested this locally and was unable to reproduce this. This was the scenario which I tested:

1. Logged in as a user (without publishing permissions). Posted a post for approvals

2. Logged in as an admin, clicked on the post to edit it. Clicked on the "Update" button.

3. The post is still under review.

Hi, I can't seem to replicate it either right now, but it happened to me yesterday.

I'll see if it happens again or if I can replicate it when I have a bit more time.

it just did it again on a post I edited myself from the front end, i had previously saved a draft and then logged out.

logged back in later on, and edited it..

made some changes and chose update post, and it published it.
