Currently, there are issue with those menu structures of yours and it seems to bug on our end where you cannot edit(change it sorting) them once you have those menu.

I have logged them and will included them on our next release version.

It does works fine as you can see here https://take.ms/Asgg0. If you referring to those saved filters, it will not works as you have created a menu items and those issues will be fixed on our next release version.

I'm sorry if I'm not explaining the problem clearly.

I know that it's possible to sort the search results alphabetically by choosing the drop-down.
What I'm having trouble with is sorting the search results alphabetically BY DEFAULT.

I would like sorting method for all searches (including regular advanced search and saved filters) to always be alphabetical without having to choose it.

Unfortunately, it's not possible to achieve with the current EasySocial version.

Having said that, it would best if you could submit your feature request regarding this simply by creating a new ticket on the forums, and set it to "Feature Request" so everyone else on the site could vote for it as well. The team will usually prioritize features that are in popular demand during the development process of the next major release.

Sorry for the confusion. It seems that there are setting to configure them as you can see here https://take.ms/TL1D8. But it seems that there are no sorting for Alphabet currently. Can you try to apply attached file at this path ...administrator/components/com_easysocial/themes/default/settings/form/pages/users/general.php and see how it goes.

This fixes will be included on our next release version.

Thank you for the file. I've uploaded it to the folder you mentioned and set the default sorting in EasySocial settings to alphabetical. But I'm not seeing any change to the search results on the website. Can you take a look? My Admin and FTP details are included on my account.

It seems like there got a few issue which we already addressed this in internally.

For now, I did helped you manually update the sorting value from your database under this table #__social_search_filter , can you give it a check again is it sorting to correct alphabetical now?
