I'm not sure what you mean here. Do you mean mass saving a large number of posts? If yes, may I know what you is your purpose for doing so?

If that's the case, you will have to backup your site's database and files. By backing up the database, you are also backing up EasyBlog's post data.
Media files from posts are in the site files, so by backing up your site files, you are also backing up the media files from EasyBlog.

Since you are doing a major update on Joomla, I would suggest that you try it on a staging site. That way, if something goes wrong, it does not affect your live site, and you can deal with the issue on the staging site first.
