Hi there,
Something appears to have gone wrong with my RSS feed that I'm using to populate my mailchimp I'm getting the header image and all of the posts coming through.
I have set the site up to use the grid view which is workign fine but I checked the site out on the std category view and when I look at my site blog under a single category view I am seeing the same thing as I see in mailchimp you can see here: http://www.manycaps.com/blog/blog-2.html
if I look at the blog share through an RSS feed option it's using the wrong image as well.
I don't know if this has been since moving to the 5.15 version of if something else has happened but need to find a way of revering this urgently to let me get my outputs working.
Hi John,

I believe you are referring to the duplicate image display in the category listing and your rss feed listing isn't it?
Seems like your blog post was include same image for both cover and content: http://take.ms/ngKZP
I suggest you to enable the truncation so it will not display the redundant image in the listing: http://take.ms/2VZTk
For facebook share, seems like Facebook has cached the wrong image from the blog post, I've fetch new scrape information and now it get the correct image: http://take.ms/YPXaZ

Hi Fadhli,

I have truncation enabled (Settings>layout>Enable Automated truncation) and still get all of the images in the http://www.manycaps.com/blog/blog-2.html layout and in mailchimp.

I think you miss one setting where you can hide the images to be display in the listing by select Do Not Display Items : https://www.screencast.com/t/mzWme1pn

Hi, it appears that issue is linked to the created date Vs published date. I send out Mailchimp. newsletters weekly on a Monday morning at 11am. I had an article created last on the Monday 29th of Jan at 4pm which should then be included in this weeks newsletter (Quarterly Off Site Review), it was created on the 29th but I set publishing to the 30th to ensure ti was in the newsletter. It isn't in the newsletter.
I changed the creation date to the 30th of Jan and refreshed the newsletter and it has appeared so looks like the RSS is sending the created date & not the published date.

Mailchimp shot

May I know where you get the image? it is from the mailchimp website where it shows the email send out?

rss screen shot

Can I have the link to the rss feed to have a better view on this?

To be honest, I'm not quite get what you mean here, do you mean that the rss feed should shows according to the created date and not the published date? may I know the rss feed link for that
