Do you have any idea why a user would have a problem when clicking on RSS feed? It works for most people, but my client with IE 10 sees page source when clicking on RSS link while the rest of us don't. any ideas?
Hello Jerry,
RSS is meant to be used on feed readers but that was not meant to be used on browsers.
Only firefox browser has built in RSS reader capability.
but when one clicks on the "subscribe via RSS" link, they should be able to put in their email and subscribe shouldn't they? That's where the error is occurring. When clicking on the link, the result is code view of the page and no popup.
It only seems to be the case with certain IE 10 browsers... so I can't replicate it often. Just wondering if you know a way to try to fix based upon previous experience?
It's actually not an issue at all and the reason that you are not getting formatted output is because IE10 does not have a feed reader. The "Subscribe via RSS" link is meant for feed readers to be able to pick them up and add them to the feed readers. You can actually test this with Firefox and see that it populates correctly since it has a built in feed reader capability.
