Hello
I'm migrating Easy Blog from a Joomla 1.5 site (Dilmar.com) to a Joomla 3.2 site. I'm having some issues with importing the RSS feed to be used in EasyBlog. I have activated the RSS feed option on the 1.5 site and when I try to import the feed with the Feed Importer on the 3.2 Joomla site ,when I hit execute, it just hangs there and does nothing. Is there something I'm doing wrong or some option I'm missing here?

It says it was imported once there but it never actually brought any content along with it.

Thanks for any help!
Hello Patrick,

Can you please provide us with the Joomla back end access as well as the FTP access so that I can check on the issues on your site?
We actually need these information so that we can debug on your issues quickly. If your site is hosted locally, could you please upload it to a temporary location for us to access?

Thanks:)

What is the error saying? Could it be from the Configurations file not being writable?

Hello Patrick Widner,

Sorry for late reply to this,
What my colleague mean is click save from your backend Global Configuration setting then hitting this error, check my screenshot : http://screencast.com/t/mYajN3e8
Also, is it possible change your domain name http://207.58.182.49/ to http://www.domainname.com <- example , and see how it goes.

Yep, I just made a change so you wont get that issue anymore with the configurations not being able to be saved. It's not possible to change the domain name right now because that domain is the live domain and it is a site being used right now. The ip address is our testing server which will eventually have the domain name dilmar.com . Also the feed is coming from a 1.5 site that is using the domain name dilmar.com.

Hello Patrick,

I've checked your rss URL : http://www.dilmar.com/index.php/Latest-News/Latest.html?format=feed&type=rss , seems like it is not public. Means that I need to login to access the page: http://screencast.com/t/DmDj6oXOw . Thats might be the reason why it is not imported. I've tried with other rss URL and it is imported successfully: http://screencast.com/t/JUnppftM .
