Hi

1) Can you advise me where to obtain my RSS feed URL please?
2) I'd like my website to be the host for public blogs. Aside from having people manually adding their blogs to the site, can i have a blog wall that scrapes new blogs as they are published?

Many thanks

Ronald.
Hello Ronald,

Sorry for late reply to this,
1) Can you advise me where to obtain my RSS feed URL please?
>> Yes, you need two website to do this, example : website A and website B (public)
First: You need to turn on this RSS option from your backend > Easyblog > setting > workflow > RSS tab > http://screencast.com/t/MUfViRf6Ec (Website A)
Second : Go to your Easyblog frontpage click the Subscribe via RSS button ( http://screencast.com/t/7XkpoMWcKo ), then copy the RSS URL. (Website A)

Go to Website B (Public)
Third : Then paste the RSS URL to Feed URL from backend > Easyblog > Feed Importer > click "ADD" > RSS URL
And fill up the field > http://screencast.com/t/CRVLfAoUh07 | then click Publishing detail tab > http://screencast.com/t/XPyOx4DlD
Then SAVE.

When you publish a blog post from Website A, the blog post also will publish in the Website B.

2) I'd like my website to be the host for public blogs. Aside from having people manually adding their blogs to the site, can i have a blog wall that scrapes new blogs as they are published?
>> Correct me if i getting wrong meaning on your first post, do you mean that then the user publish a new blog post need to under moderation from Website A right ? If no, can you elaborate more on your requirement here? Perhaps some screenshot. Please advise.

Hello Ronald,

You're welcome.
Let's follow my example above :
Can i know this site it is not make to public blog right? -> http://www.cheltenhamfestivalinfo.com (Mean this is Website A)
So now you already enable that RSS option, when you click the "Subscribe to feed" then it appear a lot of source code right?
Then you copy the Feed URL from the URL address bar http://www.cheltenhamfestivalinfo.com/xxxxxformat=feed&type=rss

After that, open your Website B (backend > Easyblog > Feed Importer)
Then continuous this step below :
Go to Website B (Public)
Third : Then paste the RSS URL to Feed URL from backend > Easyblog > Feed Importer > click "ADD" > RSS URL
And fill up the field > http://screencast.com/t/CRVLfAoUh07 | then click Publishing detail tab > http://screencast.com/t/XPyOx4DlD
Then SAVE.
