when users register with a certain profile type can I make it so they are routed back to my websites homepage, instead of their profile page?

May i know how the user registration process was? is it auto login? If yes, you can go to Backend>Components>EasySocial>Profile Types>*Type of profile type>General as shown https://screencast.com/t/WPe642GyF and change it according to your need.
