I have searched and read the other posts concerning robots and index, follow.

My issue does not seem to be addressed as when I look as page source code (http://www.4x4wire.com) is see the two below meta tag entries.

<meta name="robots" content="noindex,follow"/>

<title>Recent blog posts</title>

Two issues:

1. I want the content="noindex, follow" to read content="index, follow"; or prefer that it not be displayed and use the default Joomla setting.

2. The Title meta tag is not the description I want to display.

I have gone through the configurations for EasyBlog and Joomla. Those are 2 meta tags I can locate where to add title and follow/nofollow. But, the Joomla appears to be overridden by EasyBlog with no ability to change and have it reflect in the page that is displayed upon access.

What am I missing????
Hello John Stewart,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.
Can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can help you check on this?

Also may i know which meta description you expected to show out?

Hello John,

Thanks for the FTP access. Unfortunately, I don't have a write access to it. I get this: Server said: Could not create file.. Also, can you provide us your backend access?

The meta description is fine.

The <title>Recent blog posts</title> is what needs to be changed to read <title>4x4Wire</title>

And, what file and line controls that setting??

Hello John,

I've changed the title for you. Please have a look. If it doesn't work, can you provide us your backend access?

Hey Nigel,

There's 2 way to change this:

1. You can set the page title in your menu parameters for your EasyBlog menu item.

or

2. Edit your language file /language/en-GB/en-GB.com_easyblog.ini and locate for the code, COM_EASYBLOG_LATEST_PAGE_TITLE
