Using ES 1.2's RoadMap, I have some questions about some of the items:

What's the "Custom Access Files"?

What is the "Advanced templating system [ATS]"?

Not quite sure what "Aggregating friend requests in stream" is?

Require scripts for apps and fields?

Ability to re-map user's custom fields when switching a user's profile?

Stream ordering should be ordered by modified date? Does this mean that a modified post shows up at the top of the stream? I'm curious why modified became the new standard.
Hello Josh,

Custom access file allows 3pd to create new access rules. ATS on the other is what you see in the Customize area at the back end of EasySocial under the themes area. Aggregating friend requests basically means that when you are friends with multiple users, the stream would be aggregated.

Ability to re-map user's custom fields when switching a user's profile?

When you switch a user to a different profile in 1.0.x and 1.1.x, their existing data is not pulled across. This is possible in 1.2.x where their data remains the same.

Stream ordering should be ordered by modified date? Does this mean that a modified post shows up at the top of the stream? I'm curious why modified became the new standard.

When a user posts a new status but someone commented on it, you wouldn't see the status update appearing on the stream again. Eventually, that stream will be hidden down the list after some time. Think of it as "something new happening on the stream"

Thanks Mark for the explanations. So when you say "Customize area at the back end of EasySocial under the themes area", are you talking about the template settings?

You will see a new section called Compiler beneath the Themes.

Thanks. Found that bonus a few days ago. If anyone else has questions about the roadmap for ES 1.2, your free to chime in.
