Hi
Will you guys incorporate right sided page module positions for ES?
Hi Antonio,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

Currently EasySocial displayed in two columns format. The sidebar and the main content. You can check all the supported module position in EasySocial here http://docs.stackideas.com/administrators/module_positions/module_positions

Do you mind show us an image where is this right sided position should appear in EasySocial so that I do not misunderstand your request
Please advise.

Hi Sam
There would basically be a sidebar not just to the left but also to the right, as you can see in my (screenshot) I have modules on the right side of my page but its position is from my template. If EasySocial had right side sidebar positions the modules I have on the right could be under my cover photo instead of directly next to my cover photo making it smaller.

Hi Antonio,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

Thanks for the clarification on this right-sidebar position but unfortunately, currently this is not possible due to the theme structure inside EasySocial
To have this 'right-siebar' position, EasySocial need to be in 3 columns layout, which required major restructure on the theme files.

I will discuss with the team again to see if we can have this right-sidebar position added into EasySocial in the future version or not.
Thanks again for your suggestion.

Have a nice day!
Sam

Ok Thanks Sam
Personally I think it would be great if it's possible, even Facebook has a 4 column layout (see screenshot). It would give us as admins more flexibility to do things and add high value positions for advertisers which would increase our revenue. Lets face it some of the module positions in EasySocial a advertiser would not want to pay for but a right-sidebar position is high value.

Hello Antonio,

I don't think this makes sense, really. It has always been the idea of Joomla where the templates (Joomla template) defines module positions on your site. If we define a 3 - 4 column with modules on EasySocial, you are most likely going to run into issues where the layout looks really bad since by nature, the "components" width area is always between 600px - 800px
