Yes it should. You can use for both your page and events pages. As long as both pages and events categories allows Reviews to be done, it can be used on both places.

2. Are there also modules available to show the best rated pages, events...?
3. is it possible, to search for rated pages, events...?

Unfortunately, both are not possible to achieve this currently. Perhaps it would be best if you can submit a feature request regarding this issues by creating a new ticket on the forums and set it to "Feature Request" so that everyone else could vote for it. We will prioritize this feature during the development process for the next major version of EasySocial if there are more people request on this.
