Is it possible to revert back to version 3.9 Please?
I found that very easy to use and it did everything I need.
The latest version is proving to be difficult and challenging.
I really would like to go back to the precious version if it can be done easily and simply.
Hey John,

Unfortunately that was not possible to downgrade back to Easybog 3.9x from Easyblog 5.x .

Perhaps you can share with us which part is difficult for you?

By the way, we have the documentation : http://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog Hope this will help much you here.

I am frustrated with 5.x as well. I think introducing more features made it look complicated. Thinking of restoring old version from DB backup and install 3.9x.

Thanks!

I much preferred the simple way things happened in 3.9, especially the editor. Now everything is more complicated and not nearly as intuitive. I believe there should always be a way to revert to the former version when new software is introduced. If I could keep all the posts and then install 3.9 I would be happy. Maybe Disqus is the better way to go after all.

Hey John,

I am sorry that delay of this reply,

If you are referring the Easyblog build-in composer is look like complicated, you can actually change back the editor to use Joomla default editor( e.g. Tiny-mce , JCE and etc) from backend > Easyblog > Settings > general > composer (Check my screenshot below.), so it will pop up the Joomla default editor.
