When I click on it, it does not refer to the selection of models, but it returns directly to the site? (see photo)

(voir photo)
Hi Christian,

I am sorry but I'm afraid I do not quite understand the issue here. May I know what do you meant by "Return to the selection of models"? Perhaps you can provide us with the screenshot example of these "Models" so we can have a better understanding of the issue here.

Hello, when I want to create a post, I find myself here (see capture001), I choose one of the models, I find myself on the creation page of the post I selected (capture002), But I decide to choose another model (capture003), I SHOULD FIND ME ON THE SELECTION OF MODELS, but I find myself on the frontend of the site (capture004)

Hi Christian,

Ah, I see. This is actually a correct behaviour where the back button will always return the user to the previous page prior when opening the composer. Currently, there is no possible way to return back to the selection of post template during composing.

If you would suggest otherwise, perhaps you can write it down into our Voice section here instead, https://stackideas.com/voices/easyblog so that other people will be able to vote on it.

Hello, it's a weird practice to refer to the frontend of the site since the major update of easyblog, it's absolutely not logical. Because on the old version, there was not this problem, it would be a crucial point to settle as soon as possible, because I made it tested with several people and they do not like this functioning. Sending me back to a list of suggestions, whereas before it worked perfectly, it surprises me, because in how many months will this problem be solved!!!

Hi Christian,

Because on the old version, there was not this problem,

This is actually a similar behaviour since the beginning of EasyBlog 5, where we first introduce the Post Template. The back button will always redirect back the user to the previous page. I am not entirely sure on which version you are referring to where pressing the back button will trigger the post template selection popup.

Am I missing something here?

I understand what you are telling me, but it's weird that when I tested easyblog on my site and I was doing my blog, there was not the behavior you are telling me about. I always fell back on the models!

A little advice from me: you should change the return on the models than to end up on the frontend, it's not logical and it destabilizes the users (10 users on my side, tried easyblog and all agreed to tell me that it doesn't make sense to end up on the frontend of the site, when you decide to change the model during your work).
----------------------

Hi Christian,

Thank you for your kind insight. As I mentioned earlier, this behaviour was never changed since the first introduction of Post Templates. Here is the video link showing how the back button behaves on EasyBlog 5.4, https://shrtm.nu/RpVU.

but it's weird that when I tested easyblog on my site and I was doing my blog, there was not the behavior you are telling me about. I always fell back on the models!

Perhaps you can provide us with the other site that you mentioned above so we can test out the behaviour directly. Also, do you recall if you somehow have performed some sort of customization on your site previously where pressing the back button will trigger the post template selection instead?

Hello, thank you for the video, really weird, maybe I pressed back on the browser to go back to the models...

But remember to do for the future update of easyblog, to give the possibility (or to give the choice) to return to the models without having to go back to the site to return to the models (this is one action too many ).
