The latest version is 3.9 ... We will start supporting version 5.x as soon as it is in official stable version.
When the modules support EB5, you will see it in the product page

I would like to share my experience with this module.
It ! was ! working well with 3.9 version of easyblog.
During the Beta testing of EB5 (2015-06-04) I contacted Minitek to warn them the module has a fatal error and is not compatible with EB5, their answer:The latest version is 3.9 ... We will start supporting version 5.x as soon as it is in official stable version.
Then on 2015-06-17 (2 days after EB5 release) it wrote them EB5 is out and asked if they already moved on to provide an update:When the modules support EB5, you will see it in the product page
This answer can be understood like : "just don't ask, we will update the module when we want to..."
To date (42 days later) nothing changed, the module has not been updated.
I am loosing two months (and maybe much more...) of a paid subscription.
This is a total lack of professionalism and I will never renew or buy another subscription at Minitek.
We all need components, modules, plugins that are profesionnally supported.
If not our website(s) will be down in the worst case or will lack design/funcionnality for the user experience and attractiveness your were counting on.
They have lost a customer.

Also,
It would be better if posts like #reply-211579 were not publicly visible in your forum.
We would never allow posts like this for one of our partners in a public forum.
Stating that the extension does not work is absolutely ok, but arbitrary conlusions of whether we are professionals or not is not fair play for us since we are supposed to be partners.

The transition to the new Easyblog 5 has been a pain for us 3rd party developers (time wise).
When we decided to support Stack Ideas products, we did not know that such incompatibilities would arise between consecutive versions.
This is hurting primarily Easyblog, because too many 3rd party extensions are rendered completely useless in the latest version.
If you want to create a reliable chain of 3rd party extensions, you must never allow such incompatibilities to exist in the future.
Otherwise, it would be very hard to keep up with Easyblog as most of the 3rd party developers do not have time to fix what was not broken in the previous version.

@ Mark,
Do whatever you want with this answer and the previous posts, keep them or delete them.
More than ever my opinion is clearly set now...

I really don't care about you man.
Do whatever you like.
I care only about well-intentioned customers.
And these customers will ALWAYS get free subscriptions for new releases for as long as they like.
