Responses aren't showing in plugin

Hi there, I have already sent you an email at "Contact Us" tab since Saturday but i haven't take an answer yet! I hope my chances are better this time. Anyway, the issue i'm facing with Easy Discuss, is that when i enabled the "Content-EasyDiscuss" plugin so that someone can respond at some articles directly, even though you can write normally your response, once posted, you can't see what is written, no matter if you are guest, registered member, super user! Under the article all i can see is 'Responses(1)' and when i press the 'View Discussion' button on the right, instead of the discussion, it says:

<<There are replies in this post but you are not allowed to view the replies from this post>>.

Only from the backend panel i can see what these responses write! I really think that the solution is simple but i haven't figure it yet. Any help is appreciated...

Hmm perhaps the category has some sort of restriction in place in terms of replies viewing permission.

Can you provide us the site access at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so we can investigate further?

Hi there,

It seems that there no categories assigned to those post right now. May i know how exactly you created those post at first place? as those post cannot be create if you doesnt choose any categories during post creations. And there are no such categories on your site currently. May i know that you have deleted those categories on your site?

Right now, in order for it to shown as it should, you need to re-assign those post(that is not assign with any category) with a new category.

Please advice.

Hi there,

I think i get what you're saying. These categories are joomla categories, not easyDiscuss ones. I thought that the "Content-EasyDiscuss" plugin links joomla categories with EasyDiscuss with no problem. Let me work with it a bit to see if i can manage something!

Hey Nikos,

Yep, categories in EasyDiscuss are not related to Joomla categories. They are a different entity altogether.
