I know this is not truly an issue with EasySocial but I was hoping you knew how to remedy the situation. Ever since installing EasySocial the user functions of reset password or remind username are not functioning . It seems that now the core Joomla login pages and modules links for these actions redirect to the EasySocial login. When clicked a second time users get a system message that they must login first. Am I missing something? Should these functions now be handled by EasySocial logins or have I got a setting wrong/conflicting?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Gory,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply.

The reason your users are being redirected to EasySocial login page is because EasySocial system plugin redirect your users to EasySocial if the user attempt to access com_user links. However, you can actually disable this behaviour from the plugin. Go to your Joomla backend under plugins manager and look for plugin 'System - EasySocial' and disable the option 'Enable com_users Redirection'. I've disabled this option for you and your 'reset password' and 'remind username' is now pointing to com_user again

Hope this help and have a nice day!
