Hi. I saw this question on the forum and although you solved the issue, you did did not post the details as to how others should solve it. I have the same issue.

When receiving a subscription email notification on a new blog post, upon clicking the 'View Post' link I am taken to the website but on to a 'Please login first' page. It should just take me to the correct blog post.

- Yes, the post and category 'Public'.

- "Require login to read full blog post" is set to No.

- Menu is set to Frontpage Blog Layout

I do have a user menu with a link for bloggers to post new blogs. Could this cause the issue and if so, is there a way around it?

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. What is the URL that is generated when you received the notification? Can you post the URL here?

Hello Anthony,

I believe this is the URL that is being redirected to when you click on the view blog post button in the email. Can you right click on the button in the email and click copy link?

Hello Anthony,

I have updated EasyBlog so that it uses the menu id of "506" all the time. Can you give this a try again?
