We've been trying to figure out what to do with the guest access-level Social page. After much debate with the team, we decided the best option for our site is going to be to make a custom profile, controlled, updated, and etc, by moderators and admins only. We want this profile to be able to send and receive friend requests, follow users, and the such. We also want this user's activity stream (including but not limited to all affiliated posts) as a read-only activity stream for all guest users as a sort of targeted advertisement of popular/preferred social accounts. Is anyone able to explain how, give us a rough-draft of such a feature, or provide any links directing us to procedures to manually add this?

We may also be looking to make the social profile optionally indifferent to the account, so users don't "have" to have one, but this is just an off-note feature I felt like adding in case you had input.
Hi,

Currently profiles in EasySocial is user based and not possible for "Guest" to have profiles.

The core operation of EasySocial also relies on a user having an account actually.

We are aware of account-based profiles and would like to keep that a standard. There is currently a way to show 'all' activity to guests, as we are using at the moment. To put this in perspective, the buyers have trademarked 'ManChat'. We wish to create a social profile called ManChat that all authorized users will have login details to, can add other profiles as friends like a normal account, and follow desired user profiles like a normal account. We simply wish the guest users to view ManChat's activity page as a read-only (no comments, no likes, etc, just raw posts) when selecting the Social tab, instead of 'all' of EasySocial activity. To do so, we should probably need an activity page hack/mod/tweak to display the activity of a specified user, rather than whoever is logged in. Is this a possibility?

Hi,

Currently it is not possible to view a profile's activity directly even if the activities are all set to public. Guest can only view the "everyone" currently.
