I dont think its fair that the Renewal price its same as when i purchase for the first time ...

im I wrong ?

thanks
There is actually a discount code in the renewal e-mail that entitles you to 10% discount. The renewal pricing is justified and fair because we will also need to maintain and upkeep our support with support questions. Furthermore, the renewal is for a year's worth of update and support so I do think that it is alright. We could lower the price but this would also mean that we will be restricting on the number of support tickets that you guys could create and it's definitely not going to be helpful

Hello Yoluca,

Our voices and roadmap system is designed to work on EasySocial only currently but we have plans to extend the system to work on all our products. However, we are pretty occupied with the development of EasySocial 1.2, and don't have the time to do that yet

Mark,

With all due respect. 10% is off individual component retail pricing. I have purchased a bundle and the 10% individually comes to less than the discount for purchasing a bundle retail. This is essentially no incentive for renewal. It should be considered that it costs far less to keep a customer than to source a new one... Leaving a bad taste in the customers mouth opens the door to looking elsewhere. I will renew because I don't believe that there is a better set of components yet, but I have most certainly written off moving from jomsocial to easysocial as I don't like feeling boxed in any more than I am.

Hello Kane,

Thanks for your insights on this. Hm, the price of renewal is actually 20% discounted I believe but if you do the maths, for a period's worth of 12 months, it's still cheaper than JomSocial I am not too sure what is the price of renewal for JomSocial but if you take this into consideration,

6 months JomSocial ($149) + 6 months JomSocial (Assuming that renewals are 50%) ($74.50) = $223.50 for first 12 months subscription

6 months EasySocial ($99) + 6 months EasySocial (Assuming that renewals are 20%) ($79.20) = $178.20 for first 12 months subscription

In fact, for all of our products, not only are our products are much more affordable, it comes with great support too (Unless you don't plan to get good support, then I have nothing else to say) Looking at your profile stats, I would say 100% of questions that you have posted on the forums are 100% answered and resolved so, why isn't this a good investment?

Hm, is this e-mail from quite a while back? I believe we've changed it to 20% already.

Hm, okay probably this was an email generated earlier but we have actually altered the pricing for renewals. It's now 20%. Did you use the coupon code to renew? If you write to us at https://crm.stackideas.com , we'll try to work out something for you

okay. it should be noted that even 20% off individual components is not a significant price break over the bundle package, not to mention, having to renew each component separately to get that couple dollars is a hurdle that doesn't need to be there. simply offering 20% of the previously purchased package seems a very reasonable discount and insures proper incentivizing which will keep the client from letting their eyes wander... just saying... oh, and btw, I purchased the bundle at full price.

Thanks for your valuable feedback Kane Appreciate it very much! Perhaps like what you said, include a possibility to renew multiple products at a discounted price would be ideal.
