We've already fixed this warning in export plugin. We will provide it in our next release.
For now to resolve this issue, find attached kit of Export app, install it vai joomla extension manager.

For undefined variable issue , i've replied you on another forum.

I have tried to access left side menu as shown in attached screen shot and it's working fine.
Correct me if i misunderstood.
