Hi - I'm wondering if I can rename "Categories" on the header of my blog post to something more engaging for my readers. Is it possible to do this?
Hey there,

Do you mean that you want to rename the 'Categories' on your toolbar as shown in the screenshot?

If yes, you can language override the following language constant which is at Backend > Extensions > Languages > Overrides:

COM_EASYBLOG_TOOLBAR_CATEGORIES

Can you have a try and see how it goes?

If no, can you provide us with some screenshots so that I can have a better understanding of it?

HI there,

Yes that is exactly what I want to do.

I can't find the language constant that you are referencing in my backend. Where do I find that?

Hi there,

You can find it at JoomlaFolder/components/com_easyblog/themes/wireframe/toolbar/default.php.

Hi Melissa,

Sorry for confusion caused. Actually, given language constants are used throughout the components so that you can easily translate them. You can find those languages strings at this path .../language/en-GB/en-GB.com_easyblog.ini *you will need to access your files from FTP/cpanel/server file manager. Depend on which languages you using right now.

By the way, as we already know which language strings that need to be translated, you can follow steps prompted here https://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/administrators/how-tos/how-to-create-language-string-override so that translated languages wont be overridden on your next update.

Please give it a try and see how it goes.
