Rename photos on upload

Hi guys

Is there anyway photos can be renamed on upload as many people are not happy that they have to go in and edit the photo name after upload, or is there anyway to hide the image name and just keep some sort of caption?

Hi Katie,

Unfortunately its not possible to change the name before posting photos.

It is possible to hide the photo name by template overriding the related theme files. Can you provide some screenshots showing the areas where you want to hide the photo names so I can provide you the respective files responsible?
