removing modules from easy social

Hello, stackideas. first of all thank you fro your support its fast and good.

I have launched a website using easy social and i need some modules to be removed from social section. i couldn't find them modules or any other place.

the list of modules i don't want to be seen are
BROWSE BY PROFILES
DATING SEARCH
USERS

the are found on the left side of the social page.
and also i wanted to disable the profile type that is shown in profile page of users. i have changed the setting to not show but it still displays.


last on easydisscuss i wanted to have an option to upload images like the one found in this forum page. bellow with "attach" option. I like the comment below its perfect. i want my site to be so.

Can you provide us your site's URL? the one that you have in Site Details is not working. For the upload image, the settings can be found from your backend > easydiscuss > settings > tab > attachment > enable attachment for question, http://screencast.com/t/Wza6kJXjIC

further my users can edit coments posted by anyone. i don't think that is correct i hope there is a way to make them able to edit only thier own comment and post.

Hello Awad,

Please replace the attached file in: ../components/com_easysocial/themes/wireframe/users/default.php. This will remove the Browse by Profile and Users Modules. For the Dating module, I've unpublished it in your Module manager: Dating Search module.

As for the attachment, can you provide us your FTP access so we can troubleshoot it.

u will see even if i enabled the attachment it isn't showing in all the pages as well.

I've tried to access your FTP but failed: Login authentication failed

on this page u can see i can edit anybody's comment even if i didn't write it.
- You can edit the reply is because you are a SuperUser. If other user also can edit the reply, you might want to check the usergroup permission in Backend>Easydiscuss>ACL: http://screencast.com/t/GZIEKrcGm3md . But for Superuser, either you enable/disable this option, they still can edit because they have Superuser access.

Hello Awad,

Thanks for the FTP access. I've checked your file and found out the code is commented: http://screencast.com/t/WoghACsh2 . I've uncommented it. Please have a look.

As for the profile type in profile view, you can disable it in Backend>Easysocial>Themes>Elegant: http://screencast.com/t/ASLKlwZy . I've disabled it for you.
