I've tried to replicate this issue in EasySocial ver1.4.12 as well as in version 2.0.x and seems like in our latest version of EasySocial having this issue as well. I've logged this issue in our issue tracker and once our developer fix it, we will apply these fix in 1.4.x as well. We will keep you update on this.

I am very glad to hear that you will apply the fix to ES 1.4.12 because yes, I've not updated to ES 2 yet (this is a lot of work for me and unfortunately I will not be having the time for a while).

Is there some kind of policy on your side to keep on supporting ES 1 branch, at least for major bugs and security issues?

It's difficult for us to maintain fixes across all versions as you may have already known, EasySocial is a fairly complex extension and to maintain bug fixes across older versions would mean double work for us

Yes, I understand that. This is why I appreciate that you proposed that this very issue is also fixed on 1.4.12, and now I am waiting for the fix.

I did not report some other issues I have on 1.4.12, that are not as critical for me as this one. For those I will wait to be on ES 2 to report them (if they can be reproduced).
