How do I remove easysocial from my website URL e.g. .com/component/easysocial/
Hey Jason,

Have you already created a menu item for EasySocial? You can actually just change the alias to anything that you want in the menu manager

By the way, from the looks of it, the URL isn't translated correctly. May I know where are you seeing this link?

I don't seem to see any links on the site pointing to /component/easysocial/ . They are all seem to be linking to /dashboard/ instead

Ok. I found an example. I went to my site. Then clicked on Sign/Up in the top header menu. It then took me to the sign up form and I got the URL shown in the image attached.

Hi Jason,

Seems like you're using Joomla registration menu as you've use registration redirection to use EasySocial's,
I've use the Easysocial registration menu instead

Hi Jason,

To be honest I didn't change anything (code nor content) in your site as I only use the registration menu
Seems like your homepage is using Joomla feature's article, however I did not see any featured Joomla article set currently.
Can you set a Joomla article to be featured article?

It looks like the old coder created a module called "Top Stories in the Last 24hrs" and this was what was showing on the home page.

This then used a RSS feed to populate it.

Now though the formatting is completely different. see pic

OK.

How do I create a home page with standard easy social menu with a frame that has an rss feed. then underneath this I have a box which shows the latest discussions?

thanks a lot

[create a home page with standard easy social menu]
Correct me if I'm wrong, do you mean you want to make easysocial's-dashboard as you homepage? if yes you can enable and make the easysocial menu as your default menu: http://take.ms/swOGx

[with a frame that has an rss feed.]
May I know do you referring to the module rss feed that created by your old coder? If yes, you can add the module in the position: position-content-bottom (as you are using elegant template currently)

[ underneath this I have a box which shows the latest discussions?]
You can add easydiscuss module (recent discussion module) : http://take.ms/0m9tL in the position: position-content-bottom

I was referring to an external RSS feed I wanted to put into the home and some sub pages. A previous coder implemented this via a module but I wanted to ask what is the best way to implement a RSS feed in Easy Social/Joomla?

Hi Jason,

Perhaps, you can add the rss module in the EasySocial position
EasySocial module position: https://stackideas.com/docs/easysocial/administrators/module-positions
