How do I remove the word "entry" from the URL. The URL looks like this:
http://www.mysite.com/path/<blockquote>entry</blockquote>/url.html

Thanks!!
Hello Wadnet.

You can get rid of the entry in the URL set from your backend > Easyblog > setting > SEO > general > URL Format for your entry - SIMPLE.

Hope this help

Ok, thanks. In this way it works, I remove "entry" from url but it doesn't resolve my problem because I want to have the date in the url:

mydomain/name-category/2015/05/05/article

Now the url of my articles are mydomain/name-category/2015/05/05/id-tiitle-article.html

but when I autopost on twitter and facebook the link appears mydomain/name-category/entry/2015/05/05/id-tiitle-article with entry and without .html so if I follow the link from twitter or facebook I get error 404

I use sh404sef

thanks for yourquick support

Hello Wadnet,

Perhaps you can provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can check on the issue directly? Please advise

Hello Wadnet,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

Can I have the permission to purge the easyblog sh404sef url and then try to autopost again? Perhaps sh404sef is storing the old url and causing 404 error. Please advise

Hi Wadnet srl,

Sorry for late reply to this,

I already purged all the Easyblog SEF URL from your sh404SEF extension.

Perhaps you can publish a new blog post from your frontend and see is it still getting the 404 error from the social network autopost link?

If the issues still persists, can you provide us with your Facebook account and the Facebook page URL so that we can do some testing ?

Hi wadnet srl,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

I guess you publish that blog post from backend right?

If yes, that will be the issues, because if you publish post from backend, thus the URL generated did not go through sh404SEF, you need to publish your post in frontend, if not the blog URL won't be correct and hitting 404 error, the reason for this is because sh404SEF plugin does not run in backend and the URLs are not proccessed.

Can you try publish a new blog post from frontend, it should show correct link.
