At the moment my some of the pages display my logo .ico but some pages have stackideas.

Where do I change them in the Elegant template they are consistently my ico on all pages?

Pic attached you can see my .ico and your .ico in the tabs of my browser.
Hey Jason,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. You can upload your own favicon.ico in /templates/elegant/ and overwrite the existing favicon.ico

If I do this or make other customisations to the templates what happens when the template is updated? Or what happens when EasySocial, EasyDiscuss etc. are updated.

What is the best approach to customisations and upgrades?

Thanks a lot.

Do I find this by going through extensions>Templates>Elegant or is it via my cpanel file manager?

Hi Jason,

You can find the favicon.ico in the cpanel file manager as per path Mark give above

As this is template override it will not effected once you update the template, easysocial, easydiscuss etc

Ok dont really understand that as I am not using the template override area of joomla>templates but uploading a file in the back end cpanel. I would have thought this would be over written if you installed an updated elegant template.

I take your word for it.

Hi Jason,

Mostly when you use the joomla>templates is for custom css where as for the file as .ico it is unable to use the backend.
Where you need to access the ftp to copied out the file
