Hello,

I have Komento installed on my clients website. She would like to know how to remove the word "Guest" from the post username as shown on this page for example: http://billicaine.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=18:embracing-the-reality-of-uncertainty&catid=11:blog&Itemid=467 Could you provide me with the steps on how to do this if it is possible? Or could you do this for me? Perhaps there is a setting in the Komento settings that removes this?

Kind regards,
Monica.
I am really sorry but unfortunately we do not provide support for customizations. You can add your own set of hacks in the theme files located in /components/com_komento/themes/kuro

Hello,

Thanks for the reply. So the only way to remove "Guest" if via a customisation? If the Owner of the site is replying to a comment on an article, is it not possible for them not to be listed as a guest? Could they be listed as Admin? Or is it not possible for members of the website to be listed as members or something like that?
Why does the name "Guest" appear?

Kind regards,
Monica.

Hello Monica,

if you would like to remove the "Guest" word, you can modify on this language file ->JoomlaFolder\language\en-GB\en-GB.com_komento.ini

COM_KOMENTO_GUEST="Guest"
//Replace with
COM_KOMENTO_GUEST="Member"
