Apart from using CSS is there a way to remove the word featured from group list?

I've got the word featured up despite none of the groups been featured ..

Thanks
Hello Damodamo,

Sorry for late reply to this,
You can modify on this file -> JoomlaFolder\components\com_easysocial\themes\wireframe\groups\default.php

//LINE 39
<li class="filter-item<?php echo $filter == 'featured' && !$activeCategory ? ' active' : '';?>" data-es-groups-filters-type="featured">

//Replace with
<li style="display:none" class="filter-item<?php echo $filter == 'featured' && !$activeCategory ? ' active' : '';?>" data-es-groups-filters-type="featured">

yes, you can do the override from your current template e.g. JoomlaFolder\templates\yourTemplate\html\com_easysocial\groups\default.php
so it will not get affected after you update.

I've done that but it still shows up ...

the annoying thing is, none of the groups are featured, but they all show as featured.

Hmm, I'm not sure which part are you referring to, because I have tried to access in your page -> http://innovateinsweden.se/social-grupper
it look like the "feature" list is not shown our anymore. Am i missing something here? Please advise.
