Dear all,

Thanks for your help in advance. I have read some threads about how to remove "entry" and I understood it. However is it possible to have an url as follows without SH404 or any rewriting URL component- I mean just using native easyblog

http://www.yourdomain.com/your_category/your_title.

At present either I remove "entry" or I have the category but not both. I am using latest easyblog vesrion.

Best,
Daniel
Hello Daniel Garcia Garcia,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

May i know did you try set URL Format for your entry to SIMPLE and set your EasyBlog Routing Behavior to use DEFAULT?

And try create all your single category layout from your menu item. So that when you click on once of the blog post, it should display like this URL format :

http://siteDomain.com/category/blogtitle

If need further assistance, please provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can help you check on this?

Hi Arlex,

Thanks for your answer. I have tried that but the urls comes out as http://yourdomain.com/easyblog/blogTitle. I wouldn't want easyblog to appear at all either and the category is still missing.

Not sure what I am asking it is possible. What I would like to achieve is http://yourdomain.com/blog-en/category/blogTitle or http://yourdomain.com/blog-es/category/blogTitle and what I have now is http://yourdomain.com/blog-en/entry/category/blogTitle and http://yourdomain.com/blog-es/entry/category/blogTitle if I choose "category-based" urls and set "Use Current Active Menu ItemId".

Something that I don't understand either is what you mean by "And try create all your single category layout from your menu item". Perhaps this is the key factor that I am missing here.

Thanks,
Daniel.

Hello d2G,

Sorry for late reply to this,

Can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can better have a look with your current menu structure?
